S.T.R.I. CULTIVAR PROFILE

Vesuvius
A top Ryegrass cultivar on the STRI sports table in 2012 and still rated highly on the 2017 table. A very hardwearing cultivar with excellent ground cover and shoot density, therefore recovers well from wear.

Cadix
Another top rated cultivar available on the STRI sports use table in 2012 and still rated highly on the 2017 table. A fine leaved cultivar with good shoot density, therefore recovers well from wear.

Julia
A top Smooth Stalked cultivar with excellent ground cover and recovery from wear. Rivals all the top Ryegrass cultivars and plays a vital role in JS8 Sports Greenscape.

Carmania
A very good new Slender cultivar in 2012. Has superb shoot density and disease resistance with good winter greenness.

Wagner 1
One of the top rated Chewings cultivars in 2012. Excellent shoot density with excellent winter greenness which is key for winter sports.

Adinda
Strong Creeping Red Fescue is a rhizomatous grass used in sports pitches for its wear tolerance and in turf production for its binding properties.

We highly recommend using Mycostart with all turf and seed, also great for shrub and tree planting. Specifically blended slow release and safe fertiliser with Mycorrhizal fungi which stimulates root growth giving turf the best possible chance and maximising your lawns health.
