Ox Eye Daisy Seeds

Ox Eye Daisy Seeds

Ox Eye Daisies are the largest of the native daisies, they can grow up to 60cm tall. Height and bright white petals make them stand out in a meadow back drop. They are a grassland perennial and thrive in meadows, pastures and on road sides. Also known as leucanthemum vulgare.
When planting Ox Eye Daisy select an area in full sun with well drained and moist soils. Sun loving, however if temperatures remain above 27 degrees C for a prolonged period they made need to be in partial shade. Prolonging their flowering season requires dead heading.
Sow in September. When Autumn comes the Ox Eye Daisy will need to be cut down to ground level.
