Red Campion, a herbaceous perennial plant with a distinctive pink red colour. Reaching heights of up to 1m therefore being a favourite of butterflies. It also attracts many woodland insects and bees. Also known as Silene dioica.
Flowers from May to September making it perfect for the summer season and to add striking colour to any areas where planted.
Most commonly found in woodlands, with strong links to fairies and legends adding adventure to your garden or meadow.Thrives in partially shaded areas as well as in hedgerows or along water sources. With a wide colour spectrum from light pink to dark pink Red Campion adds a striking contrast to all areas its planted.
