Corn Marigold, the perfect wildflower for beginners. Taking to most well drained soils, therefore making them easy to establish.
Flowering from June to October they add colour throughout the summer. Dead head regularly to prolong the flowering season.
Being versatile means they are perfect for road verges, gardens, meadows and pastures.
Sow in Spring. As an annual the ground will need recultivating to ensure the flowers come back each year.

With large golden striking flower heads growing up to 50cm in height. Can be planted in meadows, pots, borders, road verges and even pasture, anywhere with well drained soils. Sow in Spring or Autumn for flowers the following year. Flower from June through to October. Approximately 600 seeds in 1g. All wildflower mixes benefit the environment and the wider ecosystem. These flowers are beneficial to a vast variety of wildlife. Specifically they will attract bees, ladybirds and hoverflies, just some of the species you can expect to see. The Hoverflies and ladybirds are particularly useful in helping control Aphids and Greenfly. Planting marigolds near your tomato plants helps to protect them from pests!
